If you have been tuned into the spirit of God - You can feel A REVIVAL coming on!!!! This past Labor Day weekend was amazing! Over 30 souls were converted and over 100 will be baptized on Labor Day at the Pacific Ocean. The Spirit of God is moving back and forth in the sanctuary. Worship is at its best and the people of God are ushering in the POWER OF GOD! Healings are taking place right before our eyes and the VISION of soul winning and taking cities are the priority of the church!!!!!!!!! WOW!

If you were here then you would agree with me that words can’t express the feelings that went on. What a beautiful service that was conducted for Pastor Gilbert, Sylvia and Tampa, Florida Victory Outreach. There was so much love that was displayed by everyone. It was a joy to have the visiting pastors from the region and other pastors. Pastor Gilbert and his family were BLESSED and felt the love and support of their home church. They will be missed very very much but we know that GOD has called them to reach Tampa Bay Florida for HIS honor and Glory!!!!!!!!!!

Many of you from across the states may be wondering how the tournament went on Saturday! The “Belt of truth” was a successful day of exercise, fellowship, and lots of fun and competition. Sixteen teams registered for the tournament and plenty of games were played to reach the finals. Many teams came from across California and as far as Phoenix Arizona.

Opening ceremonies began at 7:45 a.m. and the games began at 8:00 a.m. The championship games began at 9:15p.m. and the bleachers were still full with excitement as Victory Outreach Oxnard’s defending champions “Shake & Bake” went head on with Victory Outreach Sacramento. The game ended with Victory Outreach Oxnard taking 1st place and remaining with the “Belt of Truth” in their city.

Victory Outreach Phoenix - 3rd place
Victory Outreach Oxnard (”Truth”) - 4th place

Since the beginning of the ACTS series it seems as if the way we do CHURCH is more intent. It’s been a joy to have been able to take our time in each book. I am excited to approach next Sunday with Acts Chapter 5 “Annanias and Saphira”. This sermon will be one that you will not want to miss!!

P.S. I am challenging everyone that attends the 9:00a.m. service to not come alone! Bring the unchurched to our early morning service!!!!!!!

It was a unique testimony on Sunday Night. The transparency “THE COUNT” brought opened hearts and brought healing waters to the altar. Many people were saved that night and souls were refreshed as well. We would love to see “THE COUNT” return!!

Souls are getting saved on Ventura Ave!! Every Tuesday night the place is packed. Last Tuesday 120 people gathered together for a time of revival. Brother Frank & Barbara are doing an awesome job reaching Treasures out of Darkness. It’s an awesome sight to see these souls coming to our regular church services as well. Keep bringing them in Brother Frank!!!!!!

Nearly 100 souls were saved at the Hip Hop’s Finest Tour Concert! It was a great sight to see THIS GENERATION of high Schoolers fill our church sanctuary! Victory Outreach Oxnard, we need to stay in contact with this generation of people. This is one of the reasons why we did this YOUTH OUTREACH. It was a great success. Thank you all for your participation and support of this event. nearly 800 were in attendance Saturday Night!

Wow!!!! Sunday was an awesome day. The illustrated sermon was very practical and reminded us that we ALL are in the ministry of follow-up. It was exciting to see almost 50 small groups re-launched. After a 1 1/2 month break all the leaders are refreshed and new attendance groups can start from scratch. Be sure to plug into a group that will best be able to meet your need.

I JUST RETURNED HOME FROM OUR TAMPA NIGHT SERVICE! I WAS ABLE TO GIVE CLEAR DIRECTION AND WAS ABLE TO NAVIGATE THE NEXT COUPLE OF MONTHS FOR OUR CHURCHES PLANS TO LAUNCH OUT VICTORY OUTREACH TAMPA BAY FLORIDA.
THE ENTIRE CHURCH SUPPORTED THE MISSION AND WE HAVE OFFICIALLY INITIATED OUR “start up account” fund to get the church planted on August 24, 2008!
As of now we are looking for a house and a facility to conduct church services in. Please keep this news in your daily prayers! God Bless You!
